Battlefield 6's launch
The Battlefield 6 beta  dropped on August 7 , and if there’s one thing it proved immediately, it’s this: people are hungry  for a good Battlefield game again. Within hours, servers were buckling under the weight of hundreds of thousands of players. Some were stuck behind queues of 250,000 + , which says a lot about the hype and maybe even more about EA’s server prep.  Visually and tonally, it feels like a return to form. It’s gritty, it’s chaotic, and the destruction is as satisfying as ever. But let’s not pretend it was flawless. Players were quick to point out that movement felt off —the new sliding mechanic had some comparing it to skating on ice. If you’re a Battlefield vet, it might feel a little too  fast, a little too  “Call of Duty.”  With the lack of a proper server browser  is rubbing people the wrong way.
